Tinkering Spaces

Tinkering Spaces

Tinkering fosters creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity in children. Through hands-on activities and crafts, they engage in active learning, building confidence and critical thinking skills. At Science Museum Oklahoma, we have two tinkering spaces that provide a fun, creative way to spark curiosity and a love for science and exploration.

Tinkering Garage

Best for ages 7+

Step into the Tinkering Garage, where engineering, art, and technology come together in a hands-on, creative space for all ages. This interactive workshop invites you to design, build, invent, and explore through ever-changing hands-on activities and crafts. With new projects each month, there is always something fresh to discover.

                          Tinker Works

This engaging space encourages young learners to experiment, build, and create, developing hand-eye coordination and  crafting skills along the way.
