The museum’s live shows are included with the cost of admission! Seating is first-come, first-served.

Is the Dome Theater still open?
The Dome Theater closed in Sept. 2015. It was a difficult decision, but ultimately the projection equipment's age and the difficulty finding film formatted for the theater prevented a consistently high-quality experience for guests. We recently launched a campaign to move the planetarium to the Dome Theater and bring a world-class planetarium to Oklahoma. Learn more >>

Health and Safety

We take the health and safety of guests seriously at Science Museum Oklahoma. The museum's security team is trained in safety precautions and protocol for situations including severe weather, tornadoes, and fire, and is certified in first aid and CPR. In the event of severe weather, the museum's first floor restrooms serve as tornado shelters for museum guests.

Cleaning

The museum is cleaned throughout the day, every day, by our expert custodial and program staff. From the bathrooms, counters, and floors to our hundreds of hands-on exhibits, every surface that guests come in contact with while inside the museum is disinfected and sanitized with commercial strength cleaning products on a daily basis. These products are safe for use around children but are highly effective against even the toughest viruses and bacteria. In addition to our daily cleaning practices, the museum's carpets and bathrooms are routinely deep-cleaned.
