Need a venue that can accommodate thousands of guests with built-in entertainment suitable for all ages? A Night at the Museum is the answer! A variety of after-hours packages are available with experiences including fully staffed exhibits, Love's Planetarium and Science Live shows, and interactive experiments facilitated by museum staff. Your guests will have a VIP experience they'll never forget and you'll be the hero of the party!
A private museum rental is a perfect choice for your company's next family night out, reunion, fundraiser, holiday party, and beyond. There is a 100-person minimum for renting the entire museum.
Perfect for a simple meeting, conference for hundreds or teambuilding retreat, our variety of conference rooms and classrooms can be adapted to suit almost every need. Our staff can help you select from a menu of options to customize your experience with catering from Salt & Surrey Catering. Groups of 10-30 will receive a 3-hour rental of The Flight Deck, and groups of 31-125 will receive a 3-hour rental of the Goldman Room or Mission Control.
We can add museum admission for a small additional charge per guest!
With its wide open spaces, peaked glass roof, and 20' video art installation, the Atrium can accommodate a wide variety of events. This is the main entrance to the museum and offers an elegant setting for a cocktail reception after operating hours. The Atrium can accommodate 100 guests for a standing reception or 80 for a meal and may be rented independently or in concert with other spaces.
Home to our famous Science Live show, this space is also available for private rentals on a limited basis. The theater seats 490 people comfortably and there's not a bad seat in the house! Your guests will be met with a full stage, multiple projection screens, and commercial sound and lighting in an elegant setting. The rental fee includes a lighting and sound technician — the only thing you have to focus on is your presentation.
Let your inner-child run wild on the mezzanine in Big Game Theory! Featuring favorite childhood games but in gigantic scale, this space may be rented with or without games and can seat up to 500 for dinner or 800 for a standing reception. As this is an active gallery, this space is only available after operating hours or when not in use for traveling exhibits.
The museum's gardens, made up of native and Oklahoma-proven plants, are a serene and scenic space for a cocktail reception or small ceremony. Our ever-changing gardens are best enjoyed in the spring, summer and fall, and are ideal for intimate, after-hours events. Our event coordinator will work with you to ensure a secondary event space is available in the event of rain. The SMO Gardens can accommodate up to 50 people for a standing reception or with theater seating.
Nestled in our aviation gallery and with comfortable space for up to 40 people for a plated or buffet meal, 55 for a standing reception, or 50 for a theater seating, this is the perfect spot for your next meeting! The Flight Deck is close to Pavlov's Café and our gardens in case your group needs a short break from the day's activities.
One of our largest spaces, the Goldman Room can be configured for large meetings and small events. This space has full AV capabilities with a ceiling-mounted projector, projection screen and both lapel and wireless mics available. The Goldman Room comfortably accommodates up to 175 people for a standing reception, 140 for a plated meal, 125 for a buffet meal, or 175 in theater seating.
Indulge your guests' passion for art and science in our art galleries. Located upstairs, this sophisticated space offers sweeping views of our new atrium and is stunning day and night. smART Space is ideal for intimate gatherings and cocktail receptions and can easily accommodate 150 guests with buffet tables and a bar.
