Jacob Hashimoto's Minecraft-inspired "The Other Sun," is the centerpiece of "Cosmic Culture: Intersections of Art and Outer Space" in Science Museum Oklahoma's smART Space. Made from 2,000 bamboo-and-paper kites, the piece and the exhibition at SMO was featured in the latest episode of "Meet a Minecrafter."

In the episode, Hashimoto reflects on the special opportunity of exhibiting at Science Museum Oklahoma and the value that long play sessions of Minecraft can have, both on the art world and on young minds overall. Check it out:

"Cosmic Culture" was scheduled to close on March 29, 2020, just after the museum temporarily closed to the public to stem the spread of COVID-19. Although the museum's reopening date isn't known, it's our hope that the exhibition will be available for guests for a limited time once we reopen!
