Science Museum Oklahoma proudly announces its newest exhibit, Out of the Toy Box: The Toy Photography of Mitchel Wu. The exhibit features 55 of Mitchel Wu’s favorite photos from throughout his career, a selection of dioramas constructed for photos, videos and written notes from behind the scenes.

Wu is a renowned toy photographer, based in Los Angeles, California. He spent the first half of his career as a product design and development lead for major entertainment companies, creating products for The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Cirque Du Soleil and others. His current clients include The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Entertainment, Nick Jr., Warner Bros, schleich, Hasbro and Mattel.

Guests can use their creativity to create toy photos in an interactive photo studio opportunity, equipped with schleich^® toys and pre-constructed dioramas. Photos can then be entered to win monthly prize packages on social media.

For this exhibit, Wu created a one-of-a-kind diorama and print featuring the Museum’s exterior. The print is available for purchase in Science Museum Oklahoma’s Science Shop alongside the new, extensive collection of schleich^® animal characters and playsets.
