The Oklahoma Museum Network spans the state and features exhibits and programs designed to educate and inspire the entire family!

The Science Museum Oklahoma-based Oklahoma Museum Network (OMN), funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, is a statewide collaboration of partner museums working together to provide hands-on discovery learning and science resources to families, students, and educators across the state. OMN provides three key community resources:

  • Interactive Science Exhibits for partner museums - For more information about each museum and discounts for their members, keep scrolling!
  • Professional Development Opportunities for educators - Our inquiry-based workshops are legendary and tend to fill within minutes. Sign up for our newsletter below to be the first to know when registration opens!

Introducing the Oklahoma Museum Network Passport Program!

Beginning July 1, 2022, all members of Oklahoma Museum Network partner museums can enjoy discounted admission, without the additional cost of an upgrade! Members of Science Museum Oklahoma, Museum of the Great Plains, Jasmin Moran Children’s Museum and Leonardo’s Children’s Museum will receive a 20% discount on general admission to the listed partner museums for up to 5 people per day. This discount cannot be applied to the member’s home museum.

Members must present their current museum membership card to receive the discount and may be requested to present a valid ID. Please check with the museum you’re visiting for their requirements.

For current OMN Boost Members: The Oklahoma Museum Network Passport Program replaces the Oklahoma Museum Network Boost Program. All OMN Boosts purchased prior to July 1, 2022, will be honored with full benefits until the accompanying museum membership expires, no later than June 30, 2023.

Leonardo’s Children’s Museum

Leonardo’s Children’s Museum in Enid, Oklahoma, offers the opportunity for open-ended exploration and allows families to grow stronger together through interactive play and educational experiences. The first floor of exciting experiences focuses on motor skill development, experimentation with simple machines and just plain fun, while also showcasing industry icons that dominate the Oklahoma landscape such as oil derricks and pump jacks. The second floor focuses on the experience of living in and around Enid, with  features including energy, health and technology themes to help children connect with the world around them.

Museum of the Great Plains

At the Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton, Oklahoma, the natural and cultural history of the Great Plains of North America is studied and shown in many exhibits and programs that will be enjoyed by all members of the family. Special events include a twice-yearly encampment of 1830s trappers and hunters, plus re-enactments of 19th and 20th century events and activities.
