Thanksgiving Break Camp

November 25th & 26th

Is that an alarm we hear? We’re bear-ly awake! We may have to get out of bed every morning, many animals get to sleep through the entire winter! Let’s explore who, why, and how they can sleep so long. Hopefully we won’t disturb anyone’s very important rest.

A delicious slice of math – à la mean, median, and mode, please! Just like Pi, we could go on forever about how awesome this camp will be. We’ll get real, calculate, and sum up some fun and games. But let’s be rational - we’ll also take a closer look at pie!

Winter Break Camps

First Session - December 26th & 27th 

Rawrrrrrrr!!! This camp session is all about the prehistoric superstars we know and love. Uncover fossils and their meanings by printing in clay and discover how long a dinosaur could get! This epic journey will explore the animals before the dinosaurs through dinosaurs that still surround us today.

Let’s take a journey into the world of microscopy! Create tiny drawings using microscopes, perform cheek swabs, view organic and inorganic specimens, and discover just how tiny we all are with a visit to the planetarium.

Let’s journey to the center of the earth and find out just what is under our feet. While experimenting with earthquakes, tectonics, and volcanology, we’ll get to the groundbreaking core of earth science.
