SCIENCE MUSEUM OKLAHOMA HOSTS JOB & VOLUNTEER FAIR: EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES AWAIT!

Have you ever wanted to join a team on a thrilling journey to inspire curiosity and reveal the wonder and relevance of science to our community? Science Museum Oklahoma is excited to announce a job and volunteer fair taking place Tuesday, Nov. 21 in the lobby of the museum. This event provides job seekers and interested volunteers with the opportunity to explore exciting positions, submit resumes and applications, meet hiring managers and even participate in on-the-spot interviews.
“We have several part-time, seasonal and some full-time positions open,” said Lauren Howard, volunteer coordinator at SMO. “We have an amazing team environment here. I’ve never worked anywhere where the organization treats you as good as they do here at SMO! We are also looking for volunteers who would love to help us instill the magic of science in people’s lives.”
The job fair is from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and some attendees might receive same-day job offers. Some of the available positions are part-time box office and science shop team members, maintenance techs and custodial positions. Several part-time program team member positions are open for people who love to encourage investigation, curiosity and exploration.
With both part-time and full-time opportunities, there's a chance for individuals to join the team just in time for the holiday season.
