Private Scout Badge Classes at Science Museum Oklahoma

Cost and Registration: Classes are $15 per Scout for one class or $25 if registered for two classes on the same day. Online registration for Saturday Scouts closes the Wednesday prior to each badge class. In some cases, space may still be available after online registration has closed. To inquire about space and register over the phone, contact Guest Relations at (405) 602-3760. Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required to hold your Scout's space.
Badge Requirements: SMO museum educators strive to meet as many badge requirements as possible during the allotted class time. Copies of Blue Cards or certificates with the covered requirements will be distributed to each student.
Parents, Guardians, and Troop Leaders: A parent, guardian, or troop leader responsible for each Scout must remain at SMO for the duration of a badge class. One guardian is required for every six Scouts. Adults attending a badge class with a Scout will not be charged general admission to attend the class, however general admission is required for those who plan to enjoy the museum after the class has concluded.

Scout Overnights
Explore the great indoors! At Science Museum Oklahoma’s Scout Science Overnights you’ll get a camping experience unlike any other, and some extra scouting skills to boot! Scouts will experience a live science demonstration, engage in special hands-on activities, see a star show in the Kirkpatrick Planetarium and camp out among the exhibits.
Science Museum Oklahoma's Scout Overnights are exclusively for Scouts and their families and are a great way for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts of all levels to attend badge classes.

Badge Classes at Scout Overnights
Scouts will select a badge class during the registration process if registering online or over the phone. Scouts registering via the paper form should select a first, second, and third choice. Each Scout may attend one badge class per Science Overnight and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cost and Schedule
- $45 per scout participant, $35 per scout when registering 10 or more scouts.
- $25 per chaperone/parent
Science Overnights begin with check-in at 6 p.m. Activities begin at 7 p.m. Participants should depart the museum by 7:30 a.m. the following morning.

Please Note
- Registration cannot be guaranteed until payment is received.
- The Code of Conduct form and the Photography Release must be printed and signed prior to arrival.
- A minimum number of participants per event is required. If a Scout event has too few registrants, it may be canceled.
- A parent/guardian contact is required for each Scout in attendance (cell phone number and an email address).

- A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations.
