Whether assisting with the maintenance of certain exhibit areas or facilitating the positive visitor experience, volunteers make the difference at Science Museum Oklahoma.

VOLUNTEERS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Welcome

Greet, orient and assist visitors as they enter the museum. Team members are also responsible for providing information about Science Museum Oklahoma exhibits and programs.

Special Events

Assist with scheduled special events, catered evening events, special projects and education events. Team members perform a variety of functions including greeting and orienting visitors, staffing registration tables and assisting Science Museum Oklahoma's staff.

Group Tour

Meet visitors arriving at our museum by motor-coach. Board the buses, provide information about the museum and help with the check-in process.

FamilySpace / KidSpace Attendant

Help out at a special exhibit designed for our younger visitors in the museum.

Train Engineer Operator

Operate the 1,000-square-foot toy train exhibit, entirely (and proudly) staffed by volunteers. Team members provide information about the trains to visitors and help keep them running on a regular schedule.

Traveling Exhibit Team

Supply information to museum visitors about the various traveling exhibits on display at Science Museum Oklahoma for a limited time. Training is provided before the arrival of the exhibit.
