Astronauts – prepare for launch! Blast off into a world of flight, robotics and space exploration on Space Day on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This action-packed day is all about the science of space with special hands-on activities and live demonstrations. Don’t forget to visit our permanent exhibits, including Destination Space, to see real NASA artifacts, experience interactive exhibits and ride in the Mercury Capsule Simulator.
